A Family Retreat on the Nile
This lodge was converted into a private weekend house with the addition of a bedroom wing, pool lounge, and dining terrace, as well as a cottage renovation. Situated just one hour from the source of the Nile River in Jinja, Uganda, these additions and renovations focused on maximizing outdoor living and creating multi-functional shared spaces. This property is entirely self-contained with solar PV lighting and charging, solar-thermal hot water, a salt water pool, and grass-thatch roof construction.
